Do you have pictures or videos from your childhood online? Probably not, it would most likely mean scanning old photos or even worse, digitalise video tapes. We all had our great moments. Funny, cute, nasty, terrifying or embarrassing. In most cases, those memories belong to you and your family alone. These days, kids and teenagers play by different rules. Do something crazy and you end up on YouTube, Failblog or other platforms.

The latest star I have seen is Fred The Raver. I love him though. Fred (if it’s his real name) is not in the same Schadenfreude category as the poor Star Wars Kid or this little fellow. However, also not as talented as the kid with the ukelele. Hence I found Fred posted on the Stanton Warrior’s Facebook wall. Which is almost as good as if Kool & the Gang would have used a picture of me as  a baby as an album cover. Well done, Fred! Rave on!

What do you think? Is it a blessing or a curse to have these opportunities? Less than one week old and already present on Facebook with baby pictures? Well, you don’t have a choice, I guess….

(Oh, give Fred some time. He needs 50 seconds to warm up first!)
